Me
Hi, I’m Lauren, and helping dogs is my passion! With over 10 years of training experience, I established Hiking Hounds of Bend in 2020 after moving to this beautiful town called Bend. Starting my own business allows me to provide the highest quality service possible & help others achieve the unthinkable.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors with my two dogs and my son, Ethan. As a single mom, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to transform lives while bringing my son along on all our adventures. He’s got the “ah ah ah” down! Together, we make a fantastic training duo.
Since becoming a mom, I’ve developed a deep love for helping other mothers find their balance while managing their kids and their canine companions.

Vision
My vision is to establish Hiking Hounds of Bend as a leading, consistently affordable dog training company that emphasizes high standards for dog behavior. I aspire to foster a community where confident, well-rounded dogs can thrive and enjoy every outing Bend has to offer!
A key focus for me is helping reactive and fearful rescue dogs find their forever homes. Additionally, I aim to build a supportive network of stay-at-home moms interested in earning extra income by walking dogs while bringing their children along for the adventure. Together, we can create a vibrant community where dogs and their humans flourish!
